Yahoo! Taiwan shut down Mango Daily, a blog for Taiwan democracy and independence. Yahoo! Taiwan, a Hong Kong based company, is the largest portal of Taiwan, which is often criticized by its pro-China stance.
Mango Daily's shutdown might be the beginning of media control in Taiwan. Taiwanese bloggers are worrying their freedom of expression, because pro-China KMT gains power and the government might be going to limit the voice of Taiwan independence to please Beijing.
My Friends. Please let others know that Yahoo! is doing wrong things again. After Shi Tao's case, we still need to do more for the freedom on the Internet. We have the right to ask Yahoo! do no evil.
